Easily and quickly pick up one, model VDGS, or two, model VDGD, steel drums without leaving the fork truck.  Slip the fork tines into the fork tubes and the Drum Gripper is ready to work.  Driver approaches the drum, lowers the gripper around the drum, and lifts.  Knuckle gripping system securely grasps the drum.  Drum is automatically released by lowering the forks.

New innovative design allows forktruck driver to invert standing drums to the horizontal racking position.  Positive latching system ensures safe handling up to 800 lbs. capacity.  Slide the positioner extensions over the vertical drum.  With the aid of the Drum Positioner, model VDRUM-P, rotate a drum to horizontal position.  Latching system will engage to allow horizontal positioning of drum.  It's now ready to slide into the rack.

The model VDCR-205, Drum Carrier/Rotator, allows you to easily transport and rotate 55 gallon steel drums using a fork truck.  Drums are held securely in place by a durable chain locking system.  The model VDCR-205 is provided with an extra long operating chain to allow the drums to be rotated from the fork truck operator's seat.  Available in 800 lb. and 1500 lb. capacities, each model includes a safety chain to secure the carrier/rotator to the fork truck and a steel bung nut wrench to open drums.  Fork pocket dimensions are 7-1/2" wide by 2-1/2" high on 31" centers.   Standard color is safety yellow.

Optional Drum Adapters:

The Fiber Drum Adapter is designed to hold and support fiber and plastic drums preventing them from getting crushed and ruined.  Model VFDA-800 comes complete with both an adjusting arm and a high strength nylon strap.  To use attach the adjusting arm to the drum cradle and the nylon strap from the strapping mechanism to the tensioning ratchet.  When the drum is tilted, it retains the top of the drum to keep it firmly in the cradle while helping to prevent damage to the outer drum.  Diameter range for drums are 12" to 21".  Service height when using top retainer is 28" to 36".  To be utilized in conjunction with: VDCR-110, VDCR-205, VDCT & VHDC-305.

Model VFDC-30 is a Solid Steel Insert that attaches to the inner-rim of the carrier/rotator portion of a 55 gallon steel drum handler.  Saddle simply hangs from the cradle by two hooks.  Once in place, it is ready to handle 30 gallon drums.  To be utilized in conjunction with: VDCR-110, VDCR-205, VDCT & VHDC-305.
